"Stumping in Missouri, Obama, the first black candidate with a shot at winning the White House, argued Wednesday that President Bush and McCain will resort to scare tactics to maintain their hold on the White House because they have little else to offer voters.

"Nobody thinks that Bush and McCain have a real answer to the challenges we face. So what they're going to try to do is make you scared of me," Obama said. "You know, `he's not patriotic enough, he's got a funny name,' you know, `he doesn't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.'"

Obama himself didn't make clear what distinctions he thinks McCain is likely to raise regarding the presidents on U.S. currency — white men who for the most part were much older than Obama when elected. McCain has not raised Obama's race as an issue in the campaign; he has said Obama lacks experience."

And this isn't the first time Obama has said, "they are going to........." and Obama puts in a not subtle racial comment

Obama's only answer to anything is tax, tax and more tax.

So instead of Americans paying taxes to cover thew cost of Bush's Iraq "war" ourselves we borrowed nearly a trillion from China.

How is this better than being self reliant like Americans used to be befdore the Republican debt creating machine took over?

Seriously wolfie, how is pitting our country in hock for sdomething we couldn't pay fore ourselves a good thing.

Please explain your party's dependence on usury and borrowing.

Here is what we'll get if Obama is elected:
        INCOME TAX
        MCCAIN (no changes)
        ngle making 30K - tax $4,500
        Single making 50K - tax $12,500
        Single making 75K - tax $18,750
        Married making 60K- tax $9,000
        Married making 75K - tax $18,750
        Married making 125K - tax $31,250

        OBAMA
        (reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
        Single making 30K - tax $8,400
        Single making 50K - tax $14,000
        Single making 75K - tax $23,250
        Married making 60K - tax $16,800
        Married making 75K - tax $21,000
        Married making 125K - tax $38,750

        Under Obama your taxes will
        more than double
How does this affect you? No explanation
        needed. This is pretty
        straight forward.
        INHERITANCE TAX
MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

        OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families
have lost businesses,>farms and ranches, and homes that have
been in their families for generations because they could not
afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved
ones will not only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than
        2400 square feet

New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already)

New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating
        gas, water, electricity)
New taxes on retirement accounts and last but not least....

New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same
level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

Of course, he plays the race card every time he get in front of the camera he makes those stupid remarks about not looking like any other candidate for President of the United States ever looked before. Then he sort of laughs like, "oh I'm so cute and funny" .

What is objectively true is that McCain is playing the "playing the race card" card.

Obama has made comments about the opposition trying to scare voters because he does not look "like the guys on dollar bills." The only logical way to take that comment is that Obama is accusing his opponents of using the race card. If there is another logical way, in context, to understand it, please explain it.

What is truly disgusting about this is that he is resorting to fear mongering and stereotyping. This is astounding behavior from a man who probably endured stereotyping himself. McCain and Obama have both been playing with kid gloves until now; why would he accost Republicans for something they haven’t done yet, or even expect to do in this sissified campaign?
How could Republicans even pull this off? Every time some Republican says something slightly controversial, (even old friends like Graham) he gets thrown under the Straight Talk Express and the comments are disavowed.
Obama on the other hand, gets all of these strange associates of his to say the most radical things and are eventually disowned by Obama after the stories start to take traction. He also usually claims that he didn’t know these supporters were so radical. Just wait until he really gets know the Iranian president. I can hear it now; “I just thought his talk of nuking Israel was political posturing.” And “This is not the Ahmadinejad I knew.”

Before he was put on Cheney's carpet on his own Anti-torture Bill, he used to believe that torture only produced lies! He has flip flopped on everything since! I can't beleive this man is an acadamy graduate and the only stisfaction I get is that the graduates of he Naval Academy are known as the greatest offfenders of the honor code... and McCain is validation of such!

McCain Has disgraced the Naval Academy! Perhaps this should be expected from a guy 2 from the bottom of his class who probably only graduated because his dad was an admiral... kinda like the only reason Dumya graduated from that Ivy league school or why he was bumped over a thousand more qualified pilots in the Teaxas Air Guard to get out of Vietnam! Worthless, truly un-American Repugs! McCain has negated any goodwill he earned as a former POW!

I'm a Puerto Rican originally from New York. My grandmother, after being widowed, married a half Greek-half Jewish man. My current girlfriend is half black and half Vietnamese. Alpha, etc., all know this and have NEVER made it an issue of any sort. The ones who make these things issues are, for the most part, Victicrats who see all opposition as a personal attack on their ethnicity. I don't attribute such base motives to those who disagree with my multi-ethnic, multicultural family. Those on the left should not, either.

Obama's a demagogue, summarily dismissing his opponent's positions without even engaging the arguments. His playing the race card - which is EXACTLY what he did with the "look different" remark - is unseemly, but is part of a calculated program to eliminate all opposition by labeling it as racist. Disagree with his health care plan? You're a racist. His tax plan? Racist! Social positions? Racist!

Of course he is playing the race card, you can hear it in his voice and see it on his face, that's what he's all about! To him being elected has nothing to do with a change for the better for Americans or the world! For him it's all about being president. Can't understand how anyone can be so blind and so stupidly desperate to not see this! Look, I care solely about what’s good for our country and not about political party devotion, for me Obama was finished when I found out he was a faithful member of “the church of hate” most of his life until he found out very publicly that it was hurting him in the polls.

Fox"News" AND CNN ran a statistic last year that 3 out of 10 (white) Americans admitted to being racially biased.

Are you guys stupid or just uninformed about this?

Of course it's about race. All my black & hispanic students tell me their families are voting Obama - and why? Because he's black.

So be it. I didn't vote for him, but I don't care if he wins. He won't be able to push his policies without them being co-signed anyway.
