Oh lord, this is all so surreal. But I will say this; I'm encouraged that the jury showed backbone, & didn't fall in lockstep behind the obviously flawed evidence. That has to count for something. -

historically, the rule of law is a very fragile thing. the fact that this "trial" happened at all is a disgrace. unless there's a shock from the new congress that reverses this trend, we can mark now as the beginning of the end for law as we knew it.
